He is a researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and coordinates the Contemporary Critical Theory Study Group (GETeCC) at the Gino Germani Institute, UBA. His work focuses on critical theory, classical German philosophy, cultural criticism, and neoliberalism. Among his publications are El lenguaje del sufrimiento. Estética y política en la teoría social de Theodor Adorno [The Language of Suffering: Aesthetics and Politics in the Social Theory of Theodor Adorno] (2018), and, as co-editor, the anthologies Crisis y crítica. Intervenciones en presente sobre el futuro de la emancipación [Crisis and Critique: Present Interventions on the Future of Emancipation] (2021) and Dilemas contemporáneos de la teoría crítica de la sociedad [Contemporary Dilemmas of Critical Social Theory] (2024).

In its contemporary stage, Critical Theory of society is practiced in a deterritorialized manner—an approach in the process of decolonization that is open to dialogue, intersectionality, and exchange with perspectives located in the peripheral regions of the world. In its various initiatives, both due to its object of study and the diverse methodologies it employs, the Contemporary Critical Theory Studies Group (GETeCC) aims to contribute to this democratization process that the tradition of interdisciplinary thought initiated by the so-called Frankfurt School is facing today, and intends to do so from (and for) Latin America. The Group’s main objective is to analyze the current conceptual advances within the mentioned tradition from a point of view situated in the issues and contradictions prevalent in Latin American societies. More specifically, GETeCC aspires to map a constellation of authors who are central to contemporary Critical Theory; to create spaces for academic involvement in the field of Critical Theory of society studies; to support production at both the theoretical and empirical research levels; and to establish exchange and cooperation with other groups from the Global South and the Global North that share similar objectives.
